About Silver Law PLC

We have more than 100 years of combined experience protecting the rights of individuals and businesses involved in tax controversies at the Silver Law PLC offices in Scottsdale, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Because all of our attorneys previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service, we understand both sides of a tax dispute. We understand how tax authorities handle various issues and will use our knowledge and skill to protect your interests.

Tax Attorney Services

Tax Litigation – We represent individuals and businesses in tax-related disputes, including civil and criminal matters. We will defend you throughout the course of a civil or criminal tax dispute, from the grand jury administrative proceeding to court appeals.

Representation in Tax Audits– We work with individuals and businesses throughout the audit process, whether you've just been notified of an impending audit or want to appeal the findings of a recently completed audit.

Collection of taxes – We defend the rights of individuals and businesses facing tax collection efforts, assisting you in negotiating an offer in compromise or an installment payment plan, or defending against an attempt to place a lien or levy on your property. We also handle employment tax collection efforts such as withholding, FICA, Social Security, and sales tax.

Innocent Spouse Compensation– We assist spouses who are facing tax assessments, fines, or penalties as a result of their spouses' or former spouses' wrongful or illegal actions.

Foreign Tax Disclosure/Offshore Voluntary Disclosure – We will assist you with your foreign reporting obligations, such as reporting foreign bank accounts, trusts, corporations, and property holdings. In addition, under the current Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Initiative, we will assist you in disclosing previously undisclosed foreign bank accounts to the Internal Revenue Service. However, this program will end on September 28, 2018.
