About Douglas R. Cameron
My practice focuses on representing creditors in state and federal courts, as well as on pre-litigation efforts to resolve disputes and nonpayment issues. Local, regional, national, and international banks, private lenders, and other business creditors are among my clients.
Prior to filing a lawsuit in connection with a non-performing real estate loan, I assist creditors in attempting to resolve non-payment issues through loan modifications, workouts, forbearance agreements, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and other potential solutions. My practice in state courts focuses on lien foreclosures, collections, and receiverships. I represent creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy litigation in federal courts, including actions for stay relief, preferences, fraudulent transfers, leases, lien priority disputes, and objections to bankruptcy plan proposals.
In addition, I represent real estate clients, including condominium and homeowners associations, in a wide range of disputes and litigation, including assessment collections, lien enforcement, and other real estate-related matters.
