Eddy is a former attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and he frequently acts as the receiver, receiver's counsel, or trustee in various federal and state proceedings in the life settlement sector, fraudulent securities offerings, EB-5 offerings, and general commercial litigation. Eddy is also a well-known expert in advising clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of their commercial and transactional opportunities. Eddy's practice encompasses an enterprise's entire lifecycle: acquisitions and mergers, corporate governance and governance, and reporting and securing regulatory approvals. Eddy is a member of the board of directors of the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation.
