About Robert Ernenwein
Robert Ernenwein is very proud to have committed his professional life to working hard to fight for people being investigated for or charged in criminal cases. He is a native New Yorker, graduated from Manhattan College in 1981 and graduated from Whittier College, School of Law in 1984. While in law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and the Law Review. These organizations are reserved for only the very best and brightest students.
At Ernenwein & Mathes, LLP, we have devoted our practice exclusively to helping people who have been accused of misdemeanor and felony offenses in Southern California. Our firm’s founding lawyer, Robert Ernenwein, is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney who has 38 years of experience representing clients in criminal cases. Mr. Ernenwein is certified as a specialist in criminal law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. Attorney Michelle Mathes is a former judicial extern with the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Ms. Mathes was also a research attorney with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. She has almost 25 years of experience in criminal law.
